Louise Visits Mayan Families

July 19, 2008 · 3 Comments

Louise, Jim, their two sons, Sean and Cameron are responsible for arranging the sponsorship of more than 50 children in Panabaj. Louise and her family arranged to purchase many gifts for the families from Panabaj, these gifts were either sent down or money given to Louise by their sponsors so that she could deliver them when she was here.

The people of Panabaj were thrilled to see Louise in their village all this week, giving out mattresses, tables and chairs, water filters and bags of food. She also delivered gifts from Canada to many sponsored children. Louise also arranged for several girls to have new traditional outfits.

Louise’s husband Jim and their sons have also been very busy building a house for a family in Cerra de Oro.

Thank you to the Sosa family for all that they have done. They have certainly brightened many families lives with their visit.

    Louise,
So many smiling faces. You have touched the lives of so many and you have lett all of us in Qualicum Parksville get involved. You have enabled us to feel like we are making a difference by organizing the buying of furniture, food, water filters, clothes and sponsorships.
    Thank you! You are amazing!
    Love ya!
