Tomas and Kim

I am copying the letter below that I wrote to Kim. Kim is the sponsor of #707 Tomas who lives in appalling conditions in Cerra de Oro. Kim has been wracking her brain how to raise funds and has been very worried about the conditions that her sponsored student and his family lives with. She wrote to me recently and was very disappointed that her attempt to raise funds to build the family a house was not being successful.

Hi Kim,

I am so excited to tell you that we started to build a house for Tomas #707 and his family yesterday!!! !!!!!!!!

Louise from Canada came down with her family, she has raised money and asked me where it should go and thanks to your constant reminders about Tomas – that family immediately came to mind.

We went over there on Monday, they met the family , saw the conditions and agreed to build the house.

Tuesday they carried over lots of building supplies.

Today they have started building!!!! !!!

I am so thrilled that the family will have a house and I am so happy for you because I know this was very dear to your heart and you have tried so hard to get help for them.

I will send you photos asap.
